Confession 2.18 | KJV
I must judge and condemn myself for my sins, and own myself liable to punishment.
And now, O my God, what shall I say after this, for I have forsaken thy commandments? Ezra 9:10(KJV) I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of man? Job 7:20(KJV)
I know that the law curseth every one that continues not in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them; Galatians 3:10(KJV) that the wages of every sin is death; Romans 6:23(KJV) and that for these things’ sake the wrath of God cometh upon the children of disobedience. Ephesians 5:6(KJV)
And I am guilty before God; Romans 3:19(KJV) the Scripture hath concluded me under sin; Galatians 3:22(KJV) and therefore thou mightest justly be angry with me, till thou hadst consumed me, so that I should neither be of your remnant nor able to escape. Ezra 9:14(KJV)
If thou shouldest lay righteousness to the line and judgment to the plummet, Isaiah 28:17(KJV) thou mightest justly separate me unto all evil, according to all the curses of the covenant, and blot out my name from under heaven. Deuteronomy 29:20(KJV)
Thou mightest justly swear in thy wrath that I should never enter into thy rest; Psalm 95:11(KJV) mightest justly set me naked and bare, Hosea 2:3(KJV) and take away my corn in the season thereof, Hosea 2:9(KJV) and put into my hands the cup of trembling, and make me drink even the dregs of that cup. Isaiah 51:17(KJV)
Thou art just in whatever thou art pleased to lay upon me; for thou hast done right, but I have done wickedly. Nehemiah 9:33(KJV) Nay, that my God has punished me less than my iniquities have deserved. Ezra 9:13(KJV)
Thou therefore shalt be justified when thou speakest and clear when thou judgest; Psalm 51:4(KJV) and I will accept of the punishment of my iniquity, Leviticus 26:43(KJV) and humble myself under thy mighty hand, 1 Peter 5:6(KJV) and say, The Lord is righteous. 2 Chronicles 12:6(KJV)
Wherefore should a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? Lamentations 3:39(KJV) No, I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him. Micah 7:9(KJV)
