Intercession 5.12 | KJV
For the healing of my nation’s unhappy divisions and the making up of its breaches.
For the divisions that are among us, there are great searchings of heart; Judges 5:16(KJV) for there are three against two and two against three in a house. Luke 12:52(KJV) But is the breach wide as the sea, which cannot be healed? Lamentations 2:13(KJV)
Is there no balm in Gilead? Is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? Jeremiah 8:22(KJV) Lord, heal the breaches of our land, for because of them it shaketh. Psalm 60:2(KJV)
I beg in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that there may be no divisions among us, but that we may be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10(KJV)
Now the God of patience and consolation grant us to be like-minded, one towards another, according to Christ Jesus, that we may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 15:5-6(KJV) and promote the common salvation. Jude 1:3(KJV)
Lord, keep us from judging one another and despising one another, Romans 14:10(KJV) and give us to follow after the things which make for peace and things wherewith one may edify another; Romans 14:19(KJV) that living in love and peace, the God of love and peace may be with us. 2 Corinthians 13:11(KJV)
Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory, but every thing in lowliness of mind; Philippians 2:3(KJV) and grant that my moderation may be known unto all men, because the Lord is at hand. Philippians 4:5(KJV)
For victory and success against our enemies abroad who seek our ruin.
Rise, Lord, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those that hate thee flee before thee, but return, O Lord, to the many thousands of thine Israel. Numbers 10:35-36(KJV)
Give us help from trouble, for vain is the help of man. Through God let our forces do valiantly; yea, let God himself tread down our enemies, Psalm 60:11-12(KJV) and give them as dust to our sword and as driven stubble to our bow. Isaiah 41:2(KJV)
Let us be a people saved by the Lord, as the shield of our help and the sword of our excellency; Deuteronomy 33:29(KJV) and make our enemies sensible that the Lord fighteth for us against them. Exodus 14:25(KJV)
Those who jeopard their lives for us in the high places of the field, Judges 5:18(KJV) teach their hands to war and their fingers to fight; Psalm 144:1(KJV) give them the shield of thy salvation, and let thy right hand hold them up, Psalm 18:35(KJV) and cover their heads in the day of battle. Psalm 140:7(KJV)
