Pray for Reconciliation with God that you may Know His Peace

Petition 3.6 | KJV

I must likewise pray that God will be reconciled to me, that I may obtain his favour and blessing and gracious acceptance.

That I may be at peace with God and his anger may be turned away from me.

Being justified by faith, let me have peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ, and through him let me have access into that grace wherein believers stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2(KJV)

Be not thou a terror to me, for thou art my hope in the day of evil. Jeremiah 17:17(KJV)

In Christ Jesus let me, who sometimes was afar off, be made nigh by the blood of Christ; for he is his people’s peace, who hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us, and, that he might reconcile us to God by his cross, hath slain the enmity thereby, so making peace. Through him, therefore, let me, who has made myself a stranger and foreigner, become a fellow-citizen with the saints and of the household of God. Ephesians 2:13-19(KJV)

Fury is not in thee: who would set the briars and thorns against thee in battle? thou wouldest burn them together; yea, thou wouldest burn them together; but thou hast encouraged me to take hold on thy strength, that I make peace, and hast promised that I shall make peace. Isaiah 27:4-5(KJV) O let me therefore acquaint myself with thee and be at peace, that thereby good may come unto me. Job 22:21(KJV)

Heal me, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14(KJV) Be not angry with me for ever, but revive me again, that I may rejoice in thee. Shew me thy mercy, O Lord, and grant me thy salvation. Psalm 85:5-7(KJV)

Be not a terror to me, for you are my refuge in the day of disaster. Jeremiah 17:17(ESV)

In Christ Jesus let me, who once was far off, be brought near by the blood of Christ; for he himself is his people’s peace, who has broken down the dividing wall of hostility between us, that he might reconcile us to God through his cross, thereby killing the hostility, and so making peace. Through him, therefore, let me, who has made myself a stranger and an alien, become a fellow citizen with the saints and a member of the household of God. Ephesians 2:13-19(ESV)

You have no wrath: would that you had thorns and briers to battle? You would burn them up together; yes, you would burn them up together; but you have encouraged me to lay hold of your protection, that I make peace, and have promised that I shall make peace. Isaiah 27:4-5(ESV) O let me therefore agree with you and be at peace, that thereby good may come to me. Job 22:21(ESV)

Heal me, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14(ESV) Do not be angry with me forever but revive me again, that I may rejoice in you. Show me your steadfast love, O LORD, and grant me your salvation. Psalm 85:5-7(ESV)

Plead with God His Promises of Pardon

Petition 3.4 | NIV

The promises God has made in his word to pardon and absolve all those who truly repent and unfeignedly believe his holy gospel.

Lord, is not this the word which you have spoken: that if the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts, and turn to the LORD, you will have mercy on him, and to my God, for you will freely pardon, Isaiah 55:7(NIV) will pardon abundantly?

The Lord my God is merciful and forgiving, even though I have rebelled against him. Daniel 9:9(NIV)

Is not this the covenant which you have made with the house of Israel: that you will take away their sins; Romans 11:27(NIV) that you will forgive their wickedness and remember their sins no more; Jeremiah 31:34(NIV) that search will be made for Israel’s guilt, but there will be none, and for the sins of Judah, but none will be found? Jeremiah 50:20(NIV)

Have you not said that if the wicked man turns from all of the sins he has committed and follows your decrees, he will live; he will not die; none of his sins will be remembered against him? Ezekiel 33:15-16(NIV)

Have you not appointed that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in Christ’s name to all nations? Luke 24:47(NIV)

Did you not promise that when the sins of Israel were put upon the head of the scapegoat, they should be sent away into the desert to a solitary place? Leviticus 16:22(NIV) And as far as the east is from the west, so far have you removed my transgressions from me. Psalm 103:12(NIV)

O remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope. Psalm 119:49(NIV)
