Pray for Grace to Assist you that you may do your Duty Always and Everywhere

Petition 3.32 | NIV

That I may do the duty of every condition of life, every event of providence, and every relation wherein I stand.

Lord, enable me when times are good to be happy, but when times are bad to consider: for you have made the one as well as the other. Ecclesiastes 7:14(NIV) Enable me to add to my knowledge self-control; and to self-control, perseverance. 2 Peter 1:6(NIV)

Give me grace to remain with you in the situation you called me to, 1 Corinthians 7:24(NIV) and in all my ways to acknowledge you; Proverbs 3:6(NIV) and be pleased to direct my paths. Proverbs 16:9(NIV)

Let those who were slaves when they were called be the Lord’s freemen; and those who were freemen when they were called, be Christ’s slaves. 1 Corinthians 7:22(NIV)

Let all in every relation live together in unity, Psalm 133:1(NIV) that it may be as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. Psalm 133:3(NIV) O that I may live together as a joint-heir of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder my prayers. 1 Peter 3:7(NIV)

Give me grace to show proper respect to everyone, to love the brotherhood of believers, to fear God, 1 Peter 2:17(NIV) and to submit myself to the governing authorities, Romans 13:1(NIV) not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. Romans 13:5(NIV)

Pray for Grace to Assist you that you may be Courageous in your Duty

Petition 3.30 | NIV

That I may be resolute and courageous in my duty, as one who knows that though I may be a loser for Christ, I shall not be a loser by him in the end.

Lord, teach me to endure hardship like a good soldier of Christ Jesus, 2 Timothy 2:3(NIV) that I may not fear the reproach of men or their insults, Isaiah 51:7(NIV) nor be ashamed of Christ or his words, Mark 8:38(NIV) knowing whom I have believed, even one who is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day. 2 Timothy 1:12(NIV)

Though prison and hardships may face me, Lord, grant that none of these things may move me, and that I may consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race. Acts 20:23-24(NIV)

Enable me to commend myself to God in every way; 2 Corinthians 6:4(NIV) and then to pass through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report, with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left, 2 Corinthians 6:7-8(NIV) as one who cares very little if he is judged by any human court, for it is the Lord who judges me. 1 Corinthians 4:3-4(NIV)

Enable me in everything to commend myself to God; 2 Corinthians 6:4(NASB) and then to pass by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report, clad with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left, 2 Corinthians 6:7-8(NASB) as one who accounts it a very small thing to be examined by any human court, for the One who examines me is the Lord. 1 Corinthians 4:3-4(NASB)
