Pray for Grace to Direct, Quicken, Strengthen, and Assist you that you may Walk Wisely

Petition 3.27 | KJV

I must pray for grace to direct and quicken me to, and to strengthen and assist me in, my duty, in the whole course of my conversation.

Let the grace of God, which hath appeared to me and to all men, bringing salvation, effectually teach me to deny all ungodliness and worldly, fleshly lusts, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and my Saviour Jesus Christ, who gave himself for his people, that he might redeem them from all iniquity and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Titus 2:11-14(KJV)

That I may be prudent and discreet in my duty.

Thou hast said, If any man lacks wisdom, he must ask it of God, who gives to all men liberally and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. James 1:5(KJV) Lord, I want wisdom; make me wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, Matthew 10:16(KJV) that wisdom may make my face to shine, Ecclesiastes 8:1(KJV) and may be better to me than weapons of war. Ecclesiastes 9:18(KJV)

Enable me to walk in wisdom towards them that are without, redeeming the time. Colossians 4:5(KJV)

Give me to order all my affairs with discretion and to behave myself wisely, in a perfect way, with a perfect heart. Psalm 101:2(KJV)

We must pray for grace to direct and quicken us to, and to strengthen and assist us in, our duty, in the whole course of our life.

Let the grace of God, which has appeared, bringing salvation for me and for all people, effectually train me to renounce all ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live a self-controlled, upright, and godly life in this present age, waiting for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of my great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for his people to redeem them from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works. Titus 2:11-14(ESV)
