Thank God for Christ’s Ascension into Heaven

Thanksgiving 4.22 | KJV

For his ascension into heaven, and his sitting at God’s right hand there.

We bless thee that our Lord Jesus has ascended to his Father and our Father, to his God and our God; John 20:17(KJV) is ascended up on high, having led captivity captive, and hath received gifts from men, yea, even for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them. Psalm 68:18(KJV)

That as the Forerunner he is for us entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us, Hebrews 9:24(KJV) a Lamb, as it had been slain, standing in the midst of the throne. Revelation 5:6(KJV)

That he is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, Hebrews 8:1(KJV) angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him. 1 Peter 3:22(KJV)

That he is gone before, to prepare a place for us in his Father’s house, where there are many mansions; John 14:2-3(KJV) and though whither he is gone we cannot follow him now, yet we hope to follow him hereafter, John 13:36(KJV) when he shall come again to receive us to himself, that where he is, there we may be also. John 14:3(KJV)

Thank God for Christ’s Ascension into Heaven

Thanksgiving 4.22 | NIV

For his ascension into heaven, and his sitting at God’s right hand there.

I bless you that my Lord Jesus has returned to his Father and my Father, to his God and my God; John 20:17(NIV) has ascended on high, having led captives in his train and received gifts from men, even from the rebellious – that you, O LORD God, may dwell there. Psalm 68:18(NIV)

That he who went before me has entered heaven itself, now to appear for me in God’s presence: Hebrews 9:24(NIV) a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne. Revelation 5:6(NIV)

That he has sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, Hebrews 8:1(NIV) with angels, authorities, and powers in submission to him. 1 Peter 3:22(NIV)

That he has gone before, to prepare a place for me in his Father’s house, where there are many rooms; John 14:2-3(NIV) and though where he has gone I cannot follow now, yet I hope to follow later, John 13:36(NIV) when he shall come back to take me to be with himself, that I also may be where he is. John 14:3(NIV)

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | ESV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank you that as he was delivered up for my trespasses, so he was raised for my justification, Romans 4:25(ESV) and was declared to be the Son of God in power by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(ESV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives forevermore and has the keys of Death and Hades; Revelation 1:18(ESV) and being raised from the dead, he will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Romans 6:9(ESV)

That in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(ESV) that as in Adam all died, so also in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(ESV)

That God did not let his Holy One see corruption, Acts 2:27(ESV) but loosed the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it, Acts 2:24(ESV) and so declared to all the house of Israel that this Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(ESV)

And that to this end Christ both died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living, Romans 14:9(ESV) and that whether I am awake or asleep I might live with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(ESV)

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | KJV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank thee that as he was delivered for my offences, so he arose again for my justification, Romans 4:25(KJV) and was declared to be the Son of God with power, by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(KJV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives for evermore, and hath the keys of hell and death; Revelation 1:18(KJV) and being raised from the dead, he dies no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Romans 6:9(KJV)

That now is Christ risen from the dead and is become the first-fruits of them that slept; 1 Corinthians 15:20(KJV) that as in Adam all died, so in Christ all might be made alive, and every one in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(KJV)

That God suffered not his Holy One to see corruption, Acts 2:27(KJV) but loosed the pains of death, because it was impossible he should be holden of them, Acts 2:24(KJV) and so declared to all the house of Israel, that the same Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(KJV)

And that for this end Christ both died and rose and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living, Romans 14:9(KJV) and that whether I wake or sleep, I might live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(KJV)

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | NASB

For His resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank You that as He was delivered over because of my transgressions, so He was raised because of my justification, Romans 4:25(NASB) and was declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(NASB)

That though He was dead, yet He is alive and lives forevermore and has the keys of death and of Hades; Revelation 1:18(NASB) and having been raised from the dead, He is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. Romans 6:9(NASB)

That now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(NASB) that as in Adam all died, so also in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(NASB)

That God did not allow His Holy One to undergo decay, Acts 2:27(NASB) but put an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power, Acts 2:24(NASB) and so declared to all the house of Israel that this Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(NASB)

And that to this end Christ both died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living, Romans 14:9(NASB) and that whether I am awake or asleep, I might live together with Him.

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | NIV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank you that as he was delivered over to death for my sins, so he was raised to life for my justification, Romans 4:25(NIV) and was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(NIV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives for ever and ever, and holds the keys of death and Hades; Revelation 1:18(NIV) and since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. Romans 6:9(NIV)

That Christ has indeed been raised from the dead and is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(NIV) that as in Adam all died, so in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own turn. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(NIV)

That God would not let his Holy One see decay, Acts 2:27(NIV) but freed him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him, Acts 2:24(NIV) and so declared to all the house of Israel that God has made this Jesus, whom they crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(NIV)

And that for this very reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living, Romans 14:9(NIV) and that whether I am awake or asleep, I might live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(NIV)

That appearing to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself, Hebrews 9:26(KJV) Christ did by the eternal Spirit offer himself without spot unto God, Hebrews 9:14(KJV) and by his own blood entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for me. Hebrews 9:12(KJV)

That he hath spoiled principalities and powers, and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in his cross, and hath blotted out the hand-writing of ordinances which was against me, which was contrary to me, taking it out of the way, by nailing it to his cross. Colossians 2:14-15(KJV)

That he is my peace, who, having broken down the middle wall of partition between Jew and Gentile, hath made himself of twain one new man, hath reconciled both unto God in one body, by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby. Ephesians 2:14-16(KJV)

That he hath loved me, and washed me from my sins in his own blood, and hath made me unto my God a king and a priest. Revelation 1:5-6(KJV)

O the height and depth and length and breadth of that love of Christ which passeth knowledge! Ephesians 3:18-19(KJV) that great love wherewith he loved me! Ephesians 2:4(KJV)

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing; Revelation 5:12(KJV) for he was slain, and hath redeemed me to God by his blood. Revelation 5:9(KJV)
