Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | ESV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank you that as he was delivered up for my trespasses, so he was raised for my justification, Romans 4:25(ESV) and was declared to be the Son of God in power by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(ESV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives forevermore and has the keys of Death and Hades; Revelation 1:18(ESV) and being raised from the dead, he will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Romans 6:9(ESV)

That in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(ESV) that as in Adam all died, so also in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(ESV)

That God did not let his Holy One see corruption, Acts 2:27(ESV) but loosed the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it, Acts 2:24(ESV) and so declared to all the house of Israel that this Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(ESV)

And that to this end Christ both died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living, Romans 14:9(ESV) and that whether I am awake or asleep I might live with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(ESV)

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | KJV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank thee that as he was delivered for my offences, so he arose again for my justification, Romans 4:25(KJV) and was declared to be the Son of God with power, by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(KJV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives for evermore, and hath the keys of hell and death; Revelation 1:18(KJV) and being raised from the dead, he dies no more; death hath no more dominion over him. Romans 6:9(KJV)

That now is Christ risen from the dead and is become the first-fruits of them that slept; 1 Corinthians 15:20(KJV) that as in Adam all died, so in Christ all might be made alive, and every one in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(KJV)

That God suffered not his Holy One to see corruption, Acts 2:27(KJV) but loosed the pains of death, because it was impossible he should be holden of them, Acts 2:24(KJV) and so declared to all the house of Israel, that the same Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(KJV)

And that for this end Christ both died and rose and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living, Romans 14:9(KJV) and that whether I wake or sleep, I might live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(KJV)

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | NASB

For His resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank You that as He was delivered over because of my transgressions, so He was raised because of my justification, Romans 4:25(NASB) and was declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(NASB)

That though He was dead, yet He is alive and lives forevermore and has the keys of death and of Hades; Revelation 1:18(NASB) and having been raised from the dead, He is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him. Romans 6:9(NASB)

That now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(NASB) that as in Adam all died, so also in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own order. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(NASB)

That God did not allow His Holy One to undergo decay, Acts 2:27(NASB) but put an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power, Acts 2:24(NASB) and so declared to all the house of Israel that this Jesus whom they crucified is both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(NASB)

And that to this end Christ both died and lived again, that He might be Lord both of the dead and of the living, Romans 14:9(NASB) and that whether I am awake or asleep, I might live together with Him.

Thank God for Christ’s Resurrection

Thanksgiving 4.21 | NIV

For his resurrection from the dead on the third day.

I thank you that as he was delivered over to death for my sins, so he was raised to life for my justification, Romans 4:25(NIV) and was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead. Romans 1:4(NIV)

That though he was dead, yet he is alive and lives for ever and ever, and holds the keys of death and Hades; Revelation 1:18(NIV) and since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. Romans 6:9(NIV)

That Christ has indeed been raised from the dead and is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep; 1 Corinthians 15:20(NIV) that as in Adam all died, so in Christ all might be made alive, and each in his own turn. 1 Corinthians 15:22-23(NIV)

That God would not let his Holy One see decay, Acts 2:27(NIV) but freed him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him, Acts 2:24(NIV) and so declared to all the house of Israel that God has made this Jesus, whom they crucified, both Lord and Christ. Acts 2:36(NIV)

And that for this very reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living, Romans 14:9(NIV) and that whether I am awake or asleep, I might live together with him. 1 Thessalonians 5:10(NIV)

Thank God for the Cross of Christ and All Its Benefits

Thanksgiving 4.19 | KJV

For the full satisfaction which Christ made to the justice of God for the sin of man by the blood of his cross, for the purchases, victories, and triumphs of the cross, and for all the precious benefits which flow to me from the dying of the Lord Jesus.

Herein indeed God commendeth his love to me, in that while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me, Romans 5:8(KJV) that I might be reconciled to him by the death of his Son. Romans 5:10(KJV) Herein is love, not that I loved God, but that he loved me, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for my sins, 1 John 4:10(KJV) and not for mine only but for the sins of the whole world; 1 John 2:2(KJV) that he tasted death for every man, Hebrews 2:9(KJV) that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil. Hebrews 2:14(KJV)

I bless thee that by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified; Hebrews 10:14(KJV) that he hath finished transgression, made an end of sin, made reconciliation for iniquity, and hath brought in an everlasting righteousness. Daniel 9:24(KJV)

That he hath redeemed me from the curse of the law by being made a curse for me. Galatians 3:13(KJV)

That what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God hath done by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, who by a sacrifice for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. Romans 8:3(KJV)

That he was wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities, and that the chastisement of my peace was upon him, and by his stripes I am healed: And that the Lord having laid upon him the iniquity of all his people, Isaiah 53:5-6(KJV) it pleased the Lord to bruise him and put him to grief. Isaiah 53:10(KJV)

For the full satisfaction which He made to the justice of God for the sin of man by the blood of His cross, for the purchases, victories, and triumphs of the cross, and for all the precious benefits which flow to me from the dying of the Lord Jesus.

Herein indeed God demonstrates His own love toward me, in that while I was yet a sinner, Christ died for me, Romans 5:8(NASB) that I might be reconciled to Him through the death of His Son. Romans 5:10(NASB) In this is love, not that I loved God, but that He loved me and sent His Son to be the propitiation for my sins; 1 John 4:10(NASB) and not for mine only, but for those of the whole world; 1 John 2:2(NASB) that He tasted death for everyone, Hebrews 2:9(NASB) that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. Hebrews 2:14(NASB)

I bless You that by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified; Hebrews 10:14(NASB) that He has finished transgression, made an end of sin, made atonement for iniquity, and has brought in an everlasting righteousness. Daniel 9:24(NASB)

That He has redeemed me from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for me. Galatians 3:13(NASB)

That what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God has done by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, who by a sacrifice for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. Romans 8:3(NASB)

That He was pierced through for my transgressions and crushed for my iniquities; that the chastening for my well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging I am healed; and that the LORD, having caused the iniquity of all His people to fall on Him, Isaiah 53:5-6(NASB) was pleased to crush Him and put Him to grief. Isaiah 53:10(NASB)
