Thank God for the Wonderful Incarnation of the Son of God

Thanksgiving 4.15 | ESV

For the wonderful and mysterious incarnation of the Son of God and his coming into the world.

I bless you that when the fullness of time had come, you sent forth your Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that your people might receive adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5(ESV)

That the eternal Word became flesh and dwelt among men, and there were those who saw his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14(ESV) Great indeed, I confess, is the mystery of godliness, that God was manifested in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16(ESV)

I bless you that for this purpose he was born and for this purpose he came into the world, to bear witness to the truth; John 18:37(ESV) and I believe and have come to know that he is the Christ, the Holy One of God; John 6:69(ESV) that it is he who should come, and I am to look for no other.

I bless you that the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost; Luke 19:10(ESV) that he has come that I might have life and have it abundantly; John 10:10(ESV) and that the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8(ESV)

Lord, I receive the saying as trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, even the foremost. 1 Timothy 1:15(ESV)

I bless you that since the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things. Hebrews 2:14(ESV) That it is not angels that he helps, but his people; and that he was made like his brothers in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people; Hebrews 2:16-17(ESV) and that he is not ashamed to call them brothers. Hebrews 2:11(ESV)

And that the firstborn was brought into the world with a charge given to all the angels of God to worship him. Hebrews 1:6(ESV)

Thank God for the Wonderful Incarnation of the Son of God

Thanksgiving 4.15 | KJV

For the wonderful and mysterious incarnation of the Son of God and his coming into the world.

I bless thee that when the fulness of time was come, thou didst send forth thy Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that your people might receive the adoption of sons. Galatians 4:4-5(KJV)

That the eternal Word was made flesh and dwelt among men, and there were those who saw his glory, the glory as of the only-begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14(KJV) And without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness, that God was manifested in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16(KJV)

I bless thee that to this end he was born and for this cause he came into the world, that he might bear witness of the truth; John 18:37(KJV) and I believe and am sure that he is that Christ, the Son of the living God; John 6:69(KJV) that it is he that should come, and I am to look for no other.

I bless thee that the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost; Luke 19:10(KJV) that he is come that I might have life and that I might have it more abundantly; John 10:10(KJV) and that for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8(KJV)

Lord, I receive it as a faithful saying and well worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, even the chief. 1 Timothy 1:15(KJV)

I bless thee that forasmuch as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; Hebrews 2:14(KJV) that he took not on him the nature of angels, but human nature, and was in all things made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people; Hebrews 2:16-17(KJV) and that he is not ashamed to call them brethren. Hebrews 2:11(KJV)

And that the first-begotten was brought into the world with a charge given to all the angels of God to worship him. Hebrews 1:6(KJV)

I bless You that when the fullness of time came, You sent forth Your Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that Your people might receive the adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5(NASB)

That the eternal Word became flesh and dwelt among men, and there were those who saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14(NASB) By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness, that God was revealed in the flesh. 1 Timothy 3:16(NASB)

I bless You that for this He was born and for this He came into the world, to testify to the truth; John 18:37(NASB) and I believe and have come to know that He is the Christ, the Holy One of God; John 6:69(NASB) that it is He who should come, and I am to look for no other.

Thank God for the Wonderful Incarnation of the Son of God

Thanksgiving 4.15 | NIV

For the wonderful and mysterious incarnation of the Son of God and his coming into the world.

I bless you that when the time had fully come, you sent your Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that your people might receive the full rights of sons. Galatians 4:4-5(NIV)

That the eternal Word became flesh and made his dwelling among men, and there were those who saw his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14(NIV) Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great, that God appeared in a body. 1 Timothy 3:16(NIV)

I bless you that for this reason he was born and for this he came into the world, to testify to the truth; John 18:37(NIV) and I believe and am sure that he is the Holy One of God; John 6:69(NIV) that it is he who should come, and I am to look for no other.

I bless you that the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost; Luke 19:10(NIV) that he has come that I may have life, and have it to the full; John 10:10(NIV) and that the reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 1 John 3:8(NIV)

Lord, I receive it as a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – even the worst. 1 Timothy 1:15(NIV)

I bless you that since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity: Hebrews 2:14(NIV) That it is not angels he helps, but his people, and was made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people; Hebrews 2:16-17(NIV) and that he is not ashamed to call them brothers. Hebrews 2:11(NIV)

And that the firstborn was brought into the world with a charge given to all God’s angels to worship him. Hebrews 1:6(NIV)

Thank God for the Many Glorious Instances of His Favor to the Old Testament Church

Thanksgiving 4.14 | ESV

For the many glorious instances of God’s favor to the Old Testament church.

I adore that wisdom, peace, and goodness with which you brought the vine out of Egypt; you drove out the nations and planted it; you cleared the ground for it; it took deep root and filled the land. Psalm 80:8-9(ESV)

And they did not win the land by their own sword, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them. Psalm 44:3(ESV)

I bless you that the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God; Romans 3:2(ESV) that they had the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises: Romans 9:4(ESV) And that not one word has failed of all your good promise, which you spoke by Moses your servant. 1 Kings 8:56(ESV)

I bless you for all that which you did, at many times and in many ways, speak to the fathers by the prophets, Hebrews 1:1(ESV) those men who spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:21(ESV) and prophesied about the grace that should come to the people of God, predicting the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories; and that, not to themselves only, but to all believers, they ministered those great things, things into which angels desire to look. 1 Peter 1:10-12(ESV)

And especially, I bless you that you have provided something better for believers alive today, that apart from us they should not be made perfect. Hebrews 11:40(ESV)

Thanksgiving 4.14 | KJV

For the many glorious instances of God’s favour to the Old Testament church.

I adore that wisdom, peace, and goodness with which thou broughtest the vine out of Egypt, didst cast out the heathen and plant it; thou preparedst room before it and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land. Psalm 80:8-9(KJV)

And they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand and thine arm and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour to them. Psalm 44:3(KJV)

I bless thee that to the Jews were committed the oracles of God; Romans 3:2(KJV) that they had the adoption and the glory and the covenant, the giving of the law and the service of God and the promises: Romans 9:4(KJV) And that there did not fail one word of all thy good promise, which thou promisedst by the hand of Moses thy servant. 1 Kings 8:56(KJV)

I bless thee for all that which thou didst, at sundry times and in divers manners, speak in times past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hebrews 1:1(KJV) those holy men of God who spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost, 2 Peter 1:21(KJV) and prophesied of the grace that should come unto the people of God, testifying beforehand the suffering of Christ and the glory that should follow; and that, not to themselves only, but to all believers, they ministered those great things, things which the angels themselves desire to look into. 1 Peter 1:10-12(KJV)

And especially, I bless thee that thou hast provided some better things for believers alive today, that they without us should not be made perfect. Hebrews 11:40(KJV)

Thank God for the Early Indication of His Gracious Design

Thanksgiving 4.13 | ESV

For the early and ancient indication of the gracious design concerning fallen man.

I bless you that as soon as man had sinned, it was graciously promised that the seed of the woman should break the serpent’s head; Genesis 3:15(ESV) and that in the Old Testament sacrifices, Jesus Christ was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8(ESV)

And that by faith the people of old, though they did not receive what was promised, Hebrews 11:39(ESV) yet received their commendation; Hebrews 11:2(ESV) for they were commended as righteous. Hebrews 11:4(ESV)

I bless you for the promise made to Abraham, that in his seed all the families of the earth should be blessed; Genesis 12:3(ESV) and to Jacob, that the Shiloh should come, and to him should be the obedience of the peoples; Genesis 49:10(ESV) and that the Patriarchs rejoiced to see Christ’s day, and they saw it and were glad. John 8:56(ESV)
