And give us, we beg you, to receive reconciliation; Romans 5:11(ESV) to know that our sins are forgiven us. 1 John 2:12(ESV) Speak peace to us, Psalm 85:8(ESV) and let us hear joy and gladness. Psalm 51:8(ESV) Let the blood of Jesus your Son cleanse us from all sin, 1 John 1:7(ESV) and purify our consciences from dead works to serve the living God. Hebrews 9:14(ESV)
And as an evidence that you have forgiven our sins, we plead with you, give us grace to forgive our enemies, to love those who hate us and bless those who curse us; Matthew 5:44(KJV) for we acknowledge that if we do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will our Father forgive our trespasses. Matthew 6:15(ESV) And therefore we forgive, Lord; we desire heartily to forgive, if we have a complaint against another, as the Lord has forgiven us. Colossians 3:13(ESV) Far be it from us to say that we will repay evil, Proverbs 20:22(ESV) or that we should avenge ourselves; Romans 12:19(ESV) but we pray that all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander may be put away from us, along with all malice; and that we may be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave us.
